After an eight year run, Food Network Star had grown beyond just being another cooking show. The mentors were more than just hosts…these were the grand dame and leading men of culinary competition. In this spot, we wanted to portray each of them in their own unique element, Bobby Flay tasting the night’s offerings at one of his restaurants, Giada Di Laurentiis redlining the manuscript for her newest book, Alton Brown teaching a group of eager students the culinary science behind the perfect steak, and finally all of them coming together in studio to pass on their expertise to the next generation of chefs.
